This Picture was taken last weekend in hopes for me to scrap it before mother’s day and be able to post it on my blog yesterday. Instead I got a couple of hours of relaxation yesterday and was able to scrap it then.
The layout was inspired by Saturday Sketch #2 from the Kaisercraft blog, which I rotated 90 degrees. I’ve wanted to use these Periwinkle papers for quite sometime and I finally did today. I love the combination of these colors!!
I also made this layout for an inspirational challenge at the Shimmerz Blog. The theme for the inspiration of course is Mother’s Day and I especially took this picture to create a mother’s day LO for myself. I used 2 different types of Shimmerz Sprays: Terracota and Bronze Bombshell and I used Choc-o-lot Shimmerz paint too.
I used a lot of die-cuts and stickers from the Periwinkle collection and even added this little bird nest to fit the theme.
I love this quote below and I had to include it in my layout. “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Love as if you only have today!!”
