I made another project for the Pion Design Blog. This time its a mini-album called “My Book of Gratitude”
I’m keeping this book beside my bed so I can write in it about all the things I’m thankful for in this life.
I’ve left it blank at the moment as I didn’t want to share my innermost feelings here in Public.
I used the Alma’s Sewing Room collection for this project because I love the rich purple tones. This eggplant like hue is absolutely gorgeous.
I used quite a few chipboard pieces from my 2 Crafty stash. I simply inked them in either Dark Purple ink or a light pastel purple I recently got from Prima. I have all the chipboard pieces listed at the bottom of the post.
The large flower is from Joann’s Fabrics and the smaller ones are Prima.
The mini-album I used was a funky Kaisercraft MDF book. It assembles in a very special manner which really appealed to me.
I’m keeping it besides my bed so I can re-read what I’m thankful for each and every day.
As you can see, I’ve left a lot of blank space for writing. It is almost like a journal as I want to be able to add many thankful entries in this book as time passes. Once I fill it up, I will make another one.
I decorated the rings with lots of purple ribbons I found in my stash.
