Peace on Earth- Art Journaling page

Hi Everyone,

Its Keren here with an double page spread in my art journal designed for the Scrapberry’s blog.

with everything that is going on in the world, I felt I needed to create a page to release my emotions about how I feel about the earth.

what we need right now is 

“Peace on earth”

and so I dedicate this page to anyone who needs some light and love at this moment.

Just know that there’s someone thinking about you lighting your way through the darkness.

First I used the Scrapberry’s Atique shop collection navigation paper. I adhered it to the background with Prima Soft Matte gel. I thought the map print was perfect for the theme of this journaling spread.

 I added some stencilling design with modelling paste and then I sprayed lots of different Lindy’s stamp gang sprays around the border to match the colours of the Lindy’s Stamp Gang November color challenge below:

These are the Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays I used: Cajun Carnelian Red, Sea Mint Green, Magical Mai Tai and Winter Jasmine Gold (which I believe is discontinued)

I also used the Steampunk Sepia from the Industrial Chic magical set to add a dark edge to the border

I used the Scraperry’s Around the world traces clear stamp to create texture around the border.

and then used the Scraperry’s Around the world pearl swirl #3 to add movement to the page.

Finally I added a couple of polymer birds from the Scrapberry’s Fairytale and Vintage circus collections.
