This is the second layout I created for Blue Fern Studios using the Friperies paper from Deja Vu but this time I used green and teal hues.
I really wanted to show how you can create two different layouts with the exact same paper.
Check out the first layout I created this month on my previous blog post.
I also created lots of texture in the background using texture paste and splatters. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to create the green splatters on the page and Ecoline water-colour paints to create the black and white splatters.
I used “Valerie’s Window” behind the photo as I wanted it to mimic the flower arches in the picture. Then added some Prima flowers to enhance the garden feel.
I used the Blue Fern Studios Chelsea Vines and some Prima Resin fairies to enhance the magical feel of the garden I created around the photo. I wanted to transport people into the photo of this beautiful garden.
Finally I used the word “Thankful” as a title. All chipboard pieces here were coloured with green distress ink and then splattered with both black and white water-colour paint.
