Prima is revealing the new Cartographer collection designed by my good friend Frank Garcia.
Its a masculine collection filled with travel dreams and hopes.
As soon as I saw the Cartographer collection I knew I wanted to create a vintage suitcase.
I altered a small suitcase from the dollar store using gesso, acrylic paint and papers from the new Cartographer collection. I thought it was the perfect case to hold a small travel journal.
I created an accordion style mini-journal inside and added fussy cut postcards from one of the papers in the Cartographer collection. I hung it on a small sock hanger.
By creating a suitcase, I found a great way to showcase this amazing travel collection
