Because of You

I’m really excited to announce my Guest Design Team reveal for Once Upon a Sketch for November 1st. I was really happy when they announced that I had won the challenge for October. I was even happier to hear that I was going to be their Guest Designer for November. Below is my layout based on Nadia Cannizzo’s sketch. The journaling criteria this time you need to journal at least 2 SENTENCES on WHEN you started scrapping and WHY?
My journaling says:
” I started scrapping in the year 2003. Two years after my son was born.  I scrap because of you. I scrap because I want to keep my memories and yours in our heart. I love to scrap and I can’t see myself not doing it“

On this layout I combined Basic Grey papers with Webster’s pages. It has a garden feel to it all the way through.

One of my new treasure finds is a EK success dimensional flower punch. You cut a couple of the border strips, roll it up and then open the petals to get a beautiful paper flower. The flower I made here is a Daliah. I used two different coloured strips to make it. You can see the close-up below.
