Fly High- Ces’t Magnifique March Kit Sneak Peek

You are going just going to love this month’s kit at 

Ces’t Magnifique.

Here is just a sneak Peek of what’s to come.

We are featuring a Canadian Company called Magenta which has actually been around for many years.

This is such a beautiful kit you will not want to miss it.

I chose this picture of my daughter chasing the seagulls at the beach because it matched the teal colors in the kit perfectly. I painted the background to make it look like the ocean. First I stenciled the waves with gesso. Then I painted it with Shimmerz, Glimmer Glaze and Gold pigment. Finally I used some gel medium and embedded small ripped pieces of paper from a poem about the sea. Then I blended it all in with some more glimmer glaze. 

For the background I first used gesso to mask over a Crafter’s Workshop template that has the pattern of the sea. Then I sprayed and painted some glimmer mists and glaze on top. I glued strips of paper from an old book that had quotes about the sea. Once dried and sealed I added some more mists, glaze and gold pigment.
