R7 ED G Replacement Gas Door and FrameThe R7 Extra Deep Gas provides an extra 10 mm depth to the standard R17 when bulkier meters are installed or when more space is required. The Extra Deep R7 adds a further 30 mm at 100 mm depth from the wall. The unit is fabricated from Zintec and finished with highly protective white powder paint. This solenoid replaced a bad 350 Chev. Mercruiser starter Solenoid. It works perfectly with only a minor, simple modification of the mounting bracket . (Hole centers were slightly off needing only 1 new hole drilled on the engine bracket only. A very easy mod.) The Solenoid body itself is an exact match for the OEM and works flawlessly at a price that is literally 10 times less than what the Manufacturer charges.
