This is a picture of my kids while we were sitting on a boat in Downtown Disney. I took a picture of them with the hot air balloon in the background and I immediately envisioned using the papers from the Park Drive collection from WP. I love the hot air balloons in that collection.
I created this layout yesterday and it took me such a long time to get it the way I wanted. I spent 3 hours working with it and could not get it to work so I had to walk away and watch TV and relax. Surprisingly I didn’t get too frustrated because I knew that if I left it it would work itself out later.I finally changed the background and style by ripping strips from the Websters Pages’ papers. I masked the card stock with a wood grain mask from Prima. Then I sprayed ink and let it drip.
I used this sketch from Keeping the Best as Inspiration for this layout
There’s also a challenge at Frosted Designs called Up Up and Away that is perfect for this challenge using the hot air balloons.
