Today

Its been such a long time since I’ve scrapbooked. I was away for a month visiting family abroad and I recently came back. It was such a pleasure to finally get my stuff out and make a mess of my stash. This layout I made is for the July 15th sketch challenge by “Once Upon a Sketch” designed by Nadia Cannizzo. The challenge also required to use a quote. I used the quote by Confucius ” A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step”. The quote is made out of ribbon cut into pieces and inked in blue. I also used the word “Today” for a challenge at Bird is the word. I used 2 chipboard swirls and inked them with Adirondack spray.  I made 3 little white flowers out of paper. The journaling says: “Today and everyday I wish you to have the courage to take the first step in every path you choose in your life. Enjoy the journey!”
